This qualification provides a licensed trade outcome as a Systems Electrician. This qualification provides apprentices with the ability to install and maintain electrical components, wiring, equipment and systems and may work in specialised areas of the electrical industry in industrial, commercial or residential situations.

Apprentices work under the supervision of a licensed Electrician and combine their theoretical training with on the job practical training recorded through the e-profiling log book system. This ensures the apprentice is trained in all areas required as a licensed electrician.

Enrolment Condition

Enrolment in this course only for an apprentice with an approved training contract.

Training Prospects requires Photo ID by commencement of course. The following are acceptable sources of evidence: 

  • Current driver’s licence or learner’s permit
  • Current proof of age card (issued by Services SA)
  • Current Australian Passport in conjunction with evidence of residential address
  • Current School Student Card
  • Australian full birth certificate
