Certificate III in Roof Plumbing

Overview

Accreditation: CPC32612 Certificate III in Roof Plumbing

Upon successful completion of the Certificate III in Roof Plumbing students will gain a Certificate III and become a qualified Roof Plumber. This qualification provides students with the skills and knowledge to work in the roof plumbing trade.

Roof Plumbers install and maintain metal, fibreglass and associated new material onto roofing structures. Installation of facias, gutters, downpipes, valley gutters, ridge capping, barge capping, flashings, skylights, ventilators, dektites and battens are also included in this trade. 

Apprentices can apply to the licencing board for a roof plumbing licence.

Qualification Requirements

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in:

25 units of competency:

  • 22 core units
  • 3 elective units

Enrolment Condition

Enrolment in this course only for an apprentice with an approved training contract.

Training Prospects requires Photo ID by commencement of course. The following are acceptable sources of evidence: 

  • Current driver’s licence or learner’s permit
  • Current proof of age card (issued by Services SA)
  • Current Australian Passport in conjunction with evidence of residential address
  • Current School Student Card
  • Australian full birth certificate

Course Fees

This course is funded through the Government of South Australia's WorkReady initiative.
