Qualification: RII40913 Certificate IV in Drilling Operations

This qualification reflects the role of employees such as senior drillers. They perform tasks involving a broad range of varied activities most of which are complex and non-routine. They are responsible for the quantity and quality of the output of others and contribute to the development of technical solutions to non-routine problems.

Course Units

Qualification Requirements

Successful completion of twelve (11) units of competency made up of:

  • Seven (7) mandatory units, and
  • Four (4) elective units of which:
    • at least one (1) must come from Group A
    • up to three (3) may come from Group B
    • up to one (1) unit may come from Certificate III or Certificate IV/Diploma level from this, or any other Training Package
