In accordance with Section 68 of the Electricity (General) Regulations 2012 it is mandatory for electrical workers to be competent in rescue and resuscitation.

This programs provides electrical workers to develop and refresh their knowledge and skills in in low voltage electrical rescue and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Program Content

This program will involve training in:

  • Risk Assessments
  • Rescue Principles
  • Recues Kits
  • CRP
  • Management of Injuries
  • Electrical Burn Treatment
  • Recovery Position 

Program Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Prepare to perform rescue procedures from live LV panel
  • Carry out rescue from live LV panel
  • Complete the LV panel rescue procedure

Pre-work is required for participants. This may be completed online, or participants may have a workbook sent to their postal address. If you wish to receive a workbook, the course must be booked 4 business days prior to the course date.

Participant must wear closed in shoes, long pants and a fitted shirt.
